BEDLINOG v DOWLAIS 30/12/23 MATCH REPORT
Bedlinog 15
Dowlais 5
Dowlais started this game in fine form scoring in the first 5 minutes the pack won the ball on the right hand side and it was moved through the backs allowing wing Kamil to cross in the corner.
They should have had a second soon after but lost possession under the Bedlinog posts.
Hooker Luke Palmer had to leave the field to be replaced by John Sutton.
The Dowlais pack had domination for most of the game but could not break down a resolute home defence.
Dowlais led for three quarters of the game but a lack of concentration and a plentiful supply of penalties kept Bedlinog in the game. This told in the end with Bedlinog just getting home through their perseverance and strong defence.
If we can cut down on the penalty count we are in with a chance in most games, we also need better game management to control our attack.
